Hospitality Properties Trust is a real estate investment trust (REIT) that owns hotels and travel centers operated by unaffiliated hospitality operating companies under long term management agreements or leases.  As of June 30, 2008, we have invested approximately $6.3 billion in 290 hotels and 185 travel centers located in 44 states, Puerto Rico and Ontario, Canada.
